I’m getting feedback that buyers are loving the new Starlet Mermaid pattern. Ready to add something fun? Here is my promised mini-tutorial on adding a standing lace collar ruffle to the neckline edge. Doesn’t our updated Snow White gown look wonderful? Adding this lace ruffle is really quite easy to do. Describing it takes longer than actually accomplishing it! This tutorial… Read more »
Here we are at the beginning of another NEW YEAR Hard to believe it’s 2018. I am not one to make a lot of specific resolutions, but I do like to have some loose plans directions I think I’m heading, things I’d like to move away from. I celebrated with the family I am blessed to have. My Honey Bunny,… Read more »
I must apologize as it’s been some time since I made a blog post. I have been crazy busy this fall and early winter working craft shows… making custom cheer orders… getting ready for Christmas… releasing new patterns… and just basically being a sewing Super Hero! I’ve got lots of new plans for the new year but for now I… Read more »
I love photography! I think I was doomed from the get-go because my parents and grandparents on both sides were snap happy, too! That said, I am unskilled. We were the $15 Instamatic sort of fans! I’ve graduated up to a $150 Canon that was a gift from my kids. It’s red, so they figured Mom would like it! Yes. Jane… Read more »

I chanced upon a clearance sale for what appeared to be a similar doll, called a ‘Storybook Heirlooms’ doll. It was an 18″ doll and to my un-trained eye it looked… Read more »
I am happy to announce the launch of my newest pattern for standard 18″ dolls. Many of you know that I make quite a lot of custom Cheerleading uniforms for dolls to match the uniforms of the little girls that own them! H Here’s a recent example: The basis of nearly all of these uniforms is a simple skort. Just… Read more »
Happy to announce that my next pattern the ‘Super Skort Plus’ is in the testing phases now! This one is sized for 18″ dolls such as the American Girl brand doll, as well as other dolls that are similar in size. The pattern will feature my favorite “Invisible” waistline skort PLUS a skort with attached waistline, such as that shown… Read more »
Apologies for the neglect of my blog posting. I never wanted to inundate you with too many posts but guess I really need to remind you that I’m still out here, right? I’ve been busily working on the next pattern. Soon to release: The Triple Axel Skating Dress. Here are some sneak peak photos of what’s going on in this… Read more »
